The CESR (Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) is a route provided by the GMC (General Medical Council) for doctors who wish to join the UK Specialist Register but have not followed a traditional UK training pathway (i.e. have not completed a CCT – Certificate of Completion of Training).
