portfolio pathway meaning

The Portfolio Pathway is an alternative route for doctors who have not completed a UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) but wish to gain specialist registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). It was previously known as the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR).
